Just a spoonful of sugar...

If you're like us, you may have eaten a bit too much sugar these holidays. That's what holidays are about?!?

But is it so out of control, you need to be warned in the same way they show smokers pictures of dirty gross lungs?

In the news...

Our stockpile of weird/interesting/sad and scary news has been growing, so it's about time we shared the love.

Read on and I'm sure you'll find something you didn't know you were looking for...

Going back to school after the holidays...

Had to happen right? Just couldn't get that time machine made before the bell rung...

Here's how to handle walking those old smelly corridors again, or even better- how to enjoy those old smelly corridors.

Numbers Series: GnomadicLibrarian Book Review

Numbers the Chaos Rachel Ward

by Rachel Ward

So we might have gone on holiday with the book reviews, but I bet some of you haven't stopped reading! Please except our apologies, and this two part review of the Numbers Series.

presents

Christmas means lots of yummy food, tinsel, movies, and gifts.

Young people will help transform the old Bar Mode pub and music venue into a vibrant central city youth space for Palmerston North teenagers. This article appeared in the Manawatu Standard on the 5th October. Check out our photo's in the gallery, hopefully they'll continue to be new and exciting.

Palmerston North live great bored

80,00ish thousand have chosen to call Palmy home, that must mean a few have chosen Palmy, and a fair few are happy to live and exist here. Why?

It's had a bit of dissing over the years. In fact the other day the Manawatu Standard editor Michael Cummings lodged a complaint with TVNZ over an item on Palmerston North saying it lacked accuracy and fairness.
