Palmy Youth Space has landed!

In 2008 Palmerston North Youth Council undertook a survey of young people to inform the Council’s Recreation Strategy, ensuring young people’s views could be considered in Council decision-making. This and further research confirmed that the young people of Palmerston North need somewhere to meet friends, spend time and express themselves.

The City Council listened and has created a vision for a Youth Space - an exciting fun, safe, affordable and welcoming environment for all young people to spend time and explore opportunities for social and personal development. This will incorporate the Youth Library, a café, an events facility and opportunities to engage in a variety of activities.
